Believe it or not, after leaving the Noblemen in 1970 I actually continued to play music professionally until 1985. But, while on the road in the late 70's, I developed an interest in computers.
In 1980 I landed in the Twin Cities with a band and after ending my career playing music
for a living in 1985, I worked in a very special music store for 4 years where I got
into using computers as a tool to create music. In 1989 I became a factory representative
for the now defunct Opcode Systems, a manufacturer
of music software and hardware. After nine years there, a friend and I started a company
called Wave
Digital Systems that built and configured computers for musicians. In 2000 I started
working for Korg USA which is the U.S. distributor for Korg, Marshall,
and Vox products and this is my current employment.
I reside in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul with Joan, my wife of 23 years.
Joan's career has been varied, including flight attendant for Northwest
Airlines. She is now the assistant to the principal at the local high school .
While the application varies from time to time, I still have a passion for computers, as
well as Science, and Home
Theater. Living in the varied
seasons of Minnesota keeps both of us active in multiple sports, but mostly golf and
cross-country skiing. I have continued to keep my music chops up a bit over the years.
I still have a real interest in music with a mildly extensive collection of progressive
rock CD's.
I'm really looking forward to seeing everybody this summer!!!
